hello, summer.

heading up to denniston hill for the weekend. planning to some smores-making, some sherlockian-reading, some field-wandering (wuthering heights style), some kiln-building, some apple-eating. hello, summer.

You'll have to let me know if "The Sherlockian" is good. I've been meaning to read it. (It's Leta's friend Becky, by the way.)

I think the guy who invented the graham cracker must have rolled over in his grave when the s'more was created. His precious libido-quelling cracker was suddenly being used to convey sinful, arousing chocolate to youth who were carousing in the wilderness!

Anyway. Summer, yes. I'm excited to hear more about this kiln :)

becky, i LOVED the sherlockian. it set me on a mission to read the conveniently open-source arthur conan doyle catalogue, as well as every sherlock ripoff I can get my hands on (the mary russell series – good; the enola holmes series – disappointing). highly recommended.

paige – east coast camping trip? I’m game if you are…
